DUGL the DOS Ultimate Game Library, is a DOS only 32bits Games, Graphics and multimedia library.
It aims to give a modern and the fastest graphic software rendering library on DOS,
and maybe ever :)
DUGL is written using the DJGPP C complier 2.04 , YASM assembler (was DJGPP 2.03 and NASM before 1.10alfa1).
Currently DUGL supports :
. Both 8bpp and 16bpp VESA 2.0+ graphics mode
. Loading/Saving GIF, PCX, BMP
. Primitives lines, masked lines, bars, rectangles ..
. Polygones/triangles drawing, including : SOLID, gouroud, textured, masked textured, color blended, transparent solid ...
. Image blitting including masked, unmasked, transparent, color blended ...
. Mouse handling with a mouse stack events
. Keyboard handling with possiblility of a keyboard map
. Timer and sychronisation
. Networking through IPX protocol
. etc..
Starting from the version 1.10 alfa1 DUGL is Bundled with an add-on library DUGL Plus, with an available sources.
It currently provides :
. Simple/Fast C++ GUI, with 14 GUI objects, multi-windows handling, MessageBox and FileBox..
. Loading/Saving JPEG using the libjpeg library
. 32bits/protected mode/loadable Sound drivers, now includes Sound Blaster 16 and Sound Blaster pro drivers.
